What this is

Set-Aside Pro is a publication that pulls every federal set-aside opportunity from SAM.gov once a night, rewrites it in plain English, and serves it as a public, searchable board. Anyone can browse opportunities without an account.

Who it's for

Small-business owners chasing federal contracts who don't have a full-time capture manager. If you hold an 8(a), Women-Owned (WOSB), HUBZone, Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), or other small-business certification and want a practical daily feed of what's eligible to bid, this is for you.

What we do

Fetch every active set-aside notice from SAM.gov once a night, after West Coast procurement offices have closed for the day.
Generate a plain-English summary of each one — what they want, who should apply, the deal-breakers, the gotchas, and the next steps — so you don't have to read 40 pages of FAR boilerplate to decide if it's worth your time.
Send a daily digest at 9:00 AM ET (filtered to your saved set-asides, NAICS codes, agencies, and keywords if you're on Pro).
Provide an assistant you can ask follow-up questions to about a specific opportunity.

What we don't do

We are not a contracting officer. We can't tell you whether you'll win a bid, whether you're qualified, or how to write a proposal that scores.
We are not affiliated with SAM.gov, the U.S. Government, or any federal agency. Every opportunity we surface is a public listing; the canonical source is the SAM.gov record we link back to.
We don't sell your data. The only emails we send are the daily digest you opted into and transactional sign-in codes.

How we make money

The board, the daily digest, and three assistant questions per day are free — and will stay free. We make money from a Pro tier ($29/month) that adds filtered digests (set-asides / NAICS / agencies / keywords) and 200 assistant questions per day. That's it.
