Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using Set-Aside Pro.

Plain-English summary: Browse the site, sign up for the digest, subscribe to Pro if it's useful, and don't try to abuse the assistant or scrape the database. The full version is below.

1. Acceptance

By visiting Set-Aside Pro (the "Site") or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Site. We may update these Terms; we'll surface a notice on the Site and log the date at the top of this page.

2. What the Site is

Set-Aside Pro is an independent publication that aggregates federal set-aside opportunities from SAM.gov and rewrites them in plain English. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Government, SAM.gov, or any federal agency. The information we publish is for orientation only; the SAM.gov listing is the authoritative source for every opportunity.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses one-time links sent to that address. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without authorization. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the Site, share access, or violate these Terms.

4. Paid subscriptions

Pro is billed monthly through Polar. You can cancel any time from the customer portal linked in your account dropdown; access continues through the end of the period you paid for. We don't issue refunds for partial periods. Prices can change with at least 30 days' notice surfaced on the Site.

5. Acceptable use

6. Assistant outputs

The chat assistant is a large language model speaking in our system voice. Its answers can be wrong. Treat them as an orientation tool and verify anything that matters (deadlines, eligibility, dollar amounts) against the SAM.gov listing. We are not liable for decisions you make based on assistant output.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it accurate and fresh, but we don't warrant completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Federal contracting is regulated; consult a contracting officer or attorney for binding advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Set-Aside Pro and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for direct damages is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You can delete your account any time by emailing hello@setasidepro.com. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
