The VA needs a small business to provide BLS, SCT, and CCT ambulance transport services 24/7 for veterans at two New Jersey campuses.

- What exactly do they need? The VA needs a small business to provide Basic Life Support (BLS), Specialty Care Transport (SCT), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) ambulance transport services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for eligible veteran beneficiaries at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange and Lyons Campuses.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a single-award firm-fixed price contract with a period of performance from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2031, with four option years.
- How will they pick the winner? The VA will evaluate proposals based on the best-value tradeoff between price and non-price factors, including the contractor's experience, qualifications, and past performance.
- When and how do you bid? The VA will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about May 18, 2026, and interested contractors must submit proposals electronically through the Contract Opportunities website at www.SAM.gov.
