The Army needs a Woman-Owned small business to manage solid waste at Arlington National Cemetery.

- What exactly do they need?
- The contractor will provide routine waste management services, including collecting and disposing of municipal solid waste, scrap metal, construction demolition debris, and single stream recycling.
- The contractor will support the relocation of waste collection infrastructure upon completion of the Southern Expansion project.
- The contractor will remove existing dumpsters, deliver new dumpsters to the new waste collection area, and place them in accordance with approved site plans and accessibility requirements.
- What's the contract structure and timeline?
- The contract will be a 5-year contract with an optional 6-month extension.
- How will they pick the winner?
- The Government will award the contract to the responsible offeror whose offer is determined to be the lowest priced technically acceptable offer.

- The response deadline is July 24, 2026, at 8:00 PM EST.

Heads up — easy to miss
- There will be a mandatory site visit on June 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM-11:30 AM EST. Contractors must limit the number of vehicles to one per vendor and follow the Contract Office Representative to different location areas on site to thoroughly understand the requirement in detail.
