The Air Force needs a small business to provide architectural and engineering services for multi-discipline construction projects at Robins AFB, including but not limited to full Architect-Engineer (A-E) design services, field survey, site and facility investigation, preparation of special technical studies, and preparation of design documents to include building and ground alteration, maintenance, repair, and minor construction.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a new Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract with five one-year ordering periods. The Government anticipates award of up to five contracts with up to three additional offerors to be placed on the Program Reserve.
- How will they pick the winner? The evaluation will consider the specialized experience and technical competence of the proposed team relative to the primary and secondary AE services and project types required by this contract. The evaluation factors are: Specialized Experience (15 pts), Professional Qualifications (15 pts), Previous DoD Work (10 pts), Location and Knowledge of the Facility (20 pts), In-House Independent Technical Review (ITR) Team (20 pts), and In-House Core Design Team (20 pts).
- When and how do you bid? Proposals must be submitted electronically not later than the closing date of this announcement. The proposal shall meet the following basic requirements: a) The proposal shall be typed and submitted in English and easy to read, b) Proposal shall be organized, concise, and tabbed, c) The proposal shall identify the solicitation number, name, address, and telephone number of the prime Offeror on the cover, d) Each volume shall contain a Table of Contents and include at the bottom left side of each page the volume and page number, e) Offerors shall verify that the information for all forms submitted is current, correct and complete including names of the points-of-contact, email address, and telephone number, f) Proposals shall completely and adequately address the requirements of this solicitation.

- Has expertise in all related engineering disciplines, including architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, structural, and other disciplines

- You need to submit a maximum of three projects for each capability listed in the project information above
- Each project example should include the following information: which firm is prime, joint venture partner, consultant or key subcontractors executed the project, a description/narrative/photos of the project, scope, location, contract dollar award amount and final dollar cost, the start date, original contract finish date, the actual finish date, contract number customer POC with current phone number and email information
Heads up — easy to miss
- There is no guarantee that work will be awarded in any given year.
- The Government will stop evaluating proposals on page 75 for the SF 330 Part I and page 20 for Section H.
- Failing to submit attachments or failing to complete the proposal properly, may result in rejection of the offer without further evaluation.
