- What exactly do they need? The VA needs an audiometry tablet for the Ralph H Johnson VAMC. The tablet must meet the requirements outlined in the Statement of Need (SON) and solicitation. The offeror shall provide manufacturer information as well as Part Numbers for any or equal item, as needed.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm-fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The contract will be completed in its entirety, and signed and dated, failure to do so will not be considered for award.
- How will they pick the winner? The government will evaluate the offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. The evaluation will be based on the price and other factors, including the technical capability to meet the government's requirements.
- When and how do you bid? Quotes must be submitted to thaddeus.gray@va.gov no later than 12:00pm ET, July 30, 2026. The quotation will be evaluated to the extent to which it can meet and/or exceed the government's requirements as outlined in the solicitation and based on the information requested in the instructions to quoters section of the solicitation.
