  • What exactly do they need? The Air Force needs a small business to install and fix existing A/V equipment, plus provide new state-of-the-art equipment, at its Rome, NY facility. The contractor will use existing equipment and cable to the maximum extent possible and provide and install new equipment with applicable cabling, hardware, racks, mounts, and shelves. The contractor must also provide complete system access information, codes, and diagrams of the solution.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with an anticipated delivery date of 60 days after receipt of order. The place of delivery, acceptance, and FOB destination point is Rome, NY.
  • How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate quotes using a best-value trade-off process, considering technical capability and price. Technical capability will be considered most important. The contractor whose proposed solution maximizes the re-use and re-programming of existing equipment will be rated more technically capable.
