- What exactly do they need? The Air Force needs a small business to update and fix programming issues/errors with existing Auditorium Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment at AFRL/RF, Rome, NY. The contractor shall provide the items on a firm fixed price basis including the cost of shipping. The requirement requires the contractor to utilize already installed equipment & cable to the maximum extent possible, as well as provide and install new state-of-the-art AV equipment with any applicable cabling, hardware, racks, mounts, and shelves. Any new equipment needs to be interoperable with existing equipment not being replaced. Also required is the installation and programming of all new and existing equipment, as well as complete system access information, codes and diagrams of the solution.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a 60-day delivery period. The anticipated delivery date is 60 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO).
- How will they pick the winner? The Government intends to evaluate quotes using a best value trade-off process whereby it may accept other than the lowest priced or highest technically rated quote. Technical capability will be considered most important. Offerors whose proposed solution maximizes the re-use and re-programing of the existing equipment recommended in Attachment No. 1 � List of Materials (LOM) will be rated more technically capable.
