The Department of State needs a small business to provide an automated biometric identification system for the Guatemalan Migration Institute.

What exactly do they need? The Department of State needs an automated biometric identification system for the Guatemalan Migration Institute. This includes a biometrics-capable migration platform with the capacity to instantly share passenger data with U.S. authorities in certain cases. The system must be able to register and store biometric-based entry records.

What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a period of performance of 30 calendar days. The contractor must deliver the equipment to Miami Dispatch Agent within 30 days after award of the contract.

How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate proposals based on technical approach, feasibility, and price. The award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) quoted that is responsive to the RFP requirements.

When and how do you bid? Proposals are due by 5:00 PM Eastern on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Submit your proposal through SAM.gov.
