The USDA needs a small business to manufacture an automated push-probe soil sampler for its research lab in Idaho.

The USDA's Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is looking for a domestically sourced automated push-probe soil sampler. The sampler must be able to collect soil cores to a depth of 3 feet, automatically separate cores into three discrete samples, and composite samples from multiple cores into one container. The sampler must also be GPS enabled, powered by a stand-alone engine, and able to be mounted on a side-by-side/UTV.
