- What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to provide base operations support services at Naval Air Station Whiting Field and outlying areas. This includes facility management, facility investment, pest control, swimming and training pool maintenance, grounds maintenance and landscaping, pavement clearance, utilities management, electrical, wastewater, water, and base support vehicles and equipment.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The proposed contract is a Facilities Support Indefinite-Quantity contract with a base period of one year plus seven one-year option periods, for a total contract performance period not to exceed eight years.
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate proposals based on the best value to the Government, considering both price and technical proposal.
- When and how do you bid? The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, and the Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. The solicitation will be available on SAM.gov, and the anticipated date of RFP issuance is on or after May 13, 2026.
