The work includes fabricating and installing new service gates and emergency gates to fit current gate slots at Bear Creek Dam, Lakewood, Colorado. The gate slots must be measured for accuracy and the existing drawings shall be used for information only. The inlet tunnel liner, gate slots, and marine door will be repainted. The work related to the main hydraulic gate hoist system will be limited to the replacement of bonnet gaskets and O-ring seals between the gate stem and the new gate. The hydraulic oil piping for the low-flow gate, between the new cylinder and the flexible hoses on the hoist deck, will also be replaced. The low-flow gate cylinders will be redesigned, fabricated, shop-tested, and installed to operate the low-flow gates on the new service gates. All incidental related work is also included in this scope.
