The Federal Bureau of Prisons needs a small business to provide biomedical waste removal services at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) in Springfield, Missouri. The contract will be a single-award indefinite delivery / requirements contract with firm-fixed unit pricing for a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.
What exactly do they need? The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, and materials necessary to perform biomedical waste removal services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Estimated quantities include, but are not limited to: Biomedical Waste Removal Services: 165,000 pounds Pharmaceutical Waste (less than 2.2 pounds): 12 months Pharmaceutical Waste Containers in Excess of Six (6) Containers (less than 2.2 pounds): 1 each Pharmaceutical Waste Disposal Stop/Pickup: 1 each Trace Chemotherapy Waste Removal (less than 12 bags per year): 1,000 pounds
