What exactly do they need?

The Navy needs a small business to provide standard commercial supplies and services for various fasteners and hardware, including screws, bolts, studs, nuts and washers, nails, machine keys, and pins, rivets, fastening devices, packing and gasket materials, O-rings, metal screening, hardware, weapon system disks and stones, abrasive materials, knobs and pointers, coil, flat, leaf, and wire springs, and bushing, rings, shims, and spacers.

What's the contract structure and timeline?

The Navy will establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with companies that provide standard commercial supplies and services at competitive prices. The BPAs will be awarded on the basis of positive Past Performance. Interested vendors should provide a minimum of three Past Performance References.

How will they pick the winner?

The government will evaluate Past Performance based upon Customer Satisfaction, Timeliness, Technical Success, Program Management, and Quality.

When and how do you bid?

Interested vendors should provide documentation and references to the contracting officer by email no later than 30 April for a June award, or by 31 October for a December award.
