What exactly do they need?
The Navy is looking for a small business to provide standard commercial supplies and services for boxes and packaging. This includes boxes, cartons, and crates (PSC/FSC Code 8115) and packaging and packing bulk materials (PSC/FSC Code 8135).
What's the contract structure and timeline?
The Navy will establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with companies that provide these services. The BPAs will be awarded on the basis of positive past performance. The government reserves the right to use additional references if available.
How will they pick the winner?
The Navy will evaluate past performance based on customer satisfaction, timeliness, technical success, program management, and quality.
When and how do you bid?
Interested vendors should provide a minimum of three past performance references and an active account in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) or a credit card as a method of payment. The government intends to issue Master BPAs on a 6-month rotation through June 2029. To be considered for a June award, interested vendors should provide documentation and references by email to rebecca.m.collins17.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 30 April. For a December award, interested vendors should provide documentation and references by email to rebecca.m.collins17.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 31 October.
