Key Details
- What exactly do they need?
The Bureau of Prisons needs a small business to supply bread and dairy products to FCI Berlin. The products must be delivered between 34 degrees F to 40 degrees F for on-frozen, perishable foods and at 0 degrees F or below for frozen foods. Beef is a vital part of the orderly running of the operation of a Federal Prison.
- What's the contract structure and timeline?
The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order for awards with total value over $15,000. Awards with total value under $15,000 will be awarded with a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Government Purchase Card transaction from the local food services department. The delivery schedule will begin on July 1, 2026, and continue through September 30, 2026.
- How will they pick the winner?
The Government will evaluate the Quoter's proposed price to ensure it is fair and reasonable. The Quoter must demonstrate a consistent record of on-time deliveries and show a track record of delivering complete and accurate orders. Only Quoters receiving a "Go" rating under this factor will be considered eligible for award.
