The slings must be newly manufactured commercial items with clear traceability to an approved manufacturer. The contractor must provide a Certificate of Conformance (COC) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.246-15.
What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed price purchase order with an initial quantity of eight (8) items. The USCG may require an additional quantity of eight (8) items for a maximum quantity of sixteen (16) items at the same price and lead time as the original order, for up to three hundred and sixty-five (365) days after the initial award date.
How will they pick the winner? The evaluation will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
