Key Details

• What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to manufacture a cartridge valve for its weapon systems. The valve must meet the material and physical requirements as specified in the solicitation. The contractor must also mark and identify the items delivered under this contract/purchase order in accordance with the applicable Military Standards and Specifications.
• What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a fixed-price contract with a delivery schedule of 90 days. The contract will be issued when copies are either deposited in the mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent by other electronic commerce methods, such as email.
• How will they pick the winner? The Navy will evaluate proposals based on the technical and past-performance factors specified in the solicitation. The evaluation will be conducted in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
• When and how do you bid? Proposals are due on July 6, 2026, at 8:30 PM Eastern Time. Proposals must be submitted through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) payment instructions.

Note: The notice requires the contractor to have at least 85 percent shelf-life remaining at the time of receipt by the first Government activity. The contractor must also mark the items delivered under this contract/purchase order with the expiration date and other required information.
