Key Details

The Army needs a small business to overhaul the magnetic brake on the CH-47 helicopter. The overhaul requires the complete restoration of unserviceable assets to a like-new, fully serviceable, and air-worthy condition in accordance with the specifications in the Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1680-341&P, dated 08/20/2020. The overhaul is a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The contract is a five-year IDIQ with a Firm-Fixed-Price structure. The Army will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) at a later date.

  • How will they pick the winner?

The Army will evaluate proposals based on the lowest price technically acceptable.

The response deadline is July 2, 2026. The Army will issue an IFB at a later date. Bidders should check SAM.gov for the full solicitation to drop.
