What exactly do they need? The VA needs a contractor to upgrade electrical services at the CLC and Fourth Floor of the Wilmington VAMC. The work includes construction and electrical services, and must comply with applicable codes, VA policy, and the terms of the contract. The contractor will provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses, and supervision for the project.
What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance of 145 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 15.
How will they pick the winner? The contract will be awarded to the offeror who submits the best proposal, as determined by the evaluation criteria specified in the solicitation.
When and how do you bid? The solicitation will be available on the Contracting Opportunities website at https://sam.gov. Interested parties must register on the website to obtain copies of the solicitation and amendments. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not sent or received by the Contractor regarding the solicitation.
