What exactly do they need? The Air Force needs a CO2 laser cutter and engraver for its research facility. The contractor shall provide the items in the specifications attachment (Attachment No. 1), on a brand name or equal firm fixed price basis including the cost of shipping FOB Destination.

What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a firm-fixed-price contract with an anticipated delivery date of 5-7 weeks after receipt of order. The contractor shall deliver the items to the specified location in Rome, NY.

How will they pick the winner? The Government intends to award to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Offer. The evaluation factors are technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and price.
