The Coast Guard needs a small business to manufacture compressors and compressor units for its vessels.
Key Details
- What exactly do they need? The Coast Guard needs compressors and compressor units for its vessels. The compressors are for HVAC systems, and the compressor units are for refrigeration. The units must be individually preserved and packaged according to MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10. The Coast Guard will inspect the units when delivered.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a non-competitive sole source purchase order. The Coast Guard intends to award the contract on an all-or-none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation.
- How will they pick the winner? The Coast Guard will evaluate the proposals based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
- When and how do you bid? The bid deadline is July 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. You must submit your quote via email to Eric.I.Goldstein@uscg.mil. The quote must include a completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (November 2020) with Alternate I.
