What exactly do they need?

The Army needs a new air traffic control tower and base operations at Robins Air Base, GA. The project includes reinforced concrete foundations and footings, brick veneer and insulated metal panel exterior walls, load-bearing masonry for the ground floor and structural steel frame for the tower and sloped standing seam metal roof. Functional areas include offices for personnel, training and briefing area, ready/breakroom, simulator room, elevator, mechanical/electrical/communications rooms, storage area, restrooms, and control cab. The new facility will include appropriate power, 750KW backup generator, heating ventilation and air conditioning, fire and lighting protection, and communications systems.

What's the contract structure and timeline?

The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with a period of performance of 780 calendar days. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 15 June 2026, and the closing date is on or about 14 July 2026.
