This includes renovating interior federal, state, or local court space in the Washington D.C. metro area, working in an occupied, historic, and functioning office building of at least 20,000 GSF, and performing work in a building listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
What's the contract structure and timeline?
The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with an estimated duration of 210 calendar days. The GSA anticipates awarding a contract in Fall 2026.
How will they pick the winner?
The GSA will evaluate the proposals based on the Offeror's past performance, key personnel, and bonding capacity.

- Has experience with similar projects, such as renovating interior federal, state, or local court space in the Washington D.C. metro area.
- Has a strong team with a GC Principal Project Manager and GC On-site Project Superintendent with at least 5 years of experience on federal construction projects.
Don't bother if…
- You must have recent and relevant experience with similar projects.
- You must provide a Resume for the Key Personnel, including the GC Principal Project Manager and GC On-site Project Superintendent.
- You must have sufficient bonding capacity for a project of at least $15M and an aggregate bonding capacity of at least $25M.
Heads up — easy to miss
- There's a mandatory site visit on February 14 — if you miss it, you can't bid.
- Travel costs aren't reimbursed separately — bake them into your price.
- Proposals are capped at 25 pages including résumés.
