The U.S. Coast Guard needs a small business to manufacture control display units for its ships.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need?

The Coast Guard needs a small business to manufacture control display units for its ships. The units must include a display control unit (DCU), a NMEA protocol extension, a 12V DC-DC converter, a DCU enclosure, a connector kit, and a fuse kit. Each unit must be individually packaged, protected, and marked according to military standards.

  • What's the contract structure and timeline?

The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance of one year. The Coast Guard intends to award on an all-or-none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer will be the most advantageous to the Government.

  • How will they pick the winner?

The winner will be selected based on the lowest price technically acceptable.

  • When and how do you bid?

Quotations are being requested via email to Eric.I.Goldstein@uscg.mil. The closing date and time for receipt of quote is 5/21/26 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Offerors must submit the following information on their quote: a completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (November 2020) with Alternate I, and a copy of the approved waiver, if a waiver has already been granted, or the waiver request, if a waiver has been applied for.

Who can apply

  • Must be a certified small business
  • Has experience with manufacturing control display units
  • Has a valid DUNS number and is registered with SAM
