The US Army needs a small business to rent a 170-ton crane with operator support services.
Key Details
- What exactly do they need? The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Geotechnical and Structural Laboratory (GSL) needs a service contract for crane rental with operator support services for a minimum 170-ton crane.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items with a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered.
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate offers based on technical acceptability and lowest price.
- When and how do you bid? Quotes are due on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT. Please complete the attached SF 1449 including Section G and return the quote.
