The VA needs a small business to provide multi-omics services for a study on degenerative cervical myelopathy.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need?

The VA needs a small business to provide multi-omics services for a study on degenerative cervical myelopathy. This includes transcriptomics (mRNA-seq) analysis, DIA-based quantitative proteomics analysis, untargeted metabolomics analysis, and multi-omics integration analysis. The contractor will also provide shipping containment and overnight shipping of samples from the VA.

  • What's the contract structure and timeline?

The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with a 12-month period of performance. The contractor will be responsible for all pre-processing steps, including extracting metabolites, proteins, and mRNA from human plasma, and performing quality control.

  • How will they pick the winner?

The VA will evaluate the proposals based on technical capabilities, past performance, and price. The evaluation will be in accordance with Simplified procedures.

  • When and how do you bid?
