- What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a certified 8(a) firm to perform construction work in the Mid-Atlantic region, primarily in support of Air Station Oceana, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Ft. Story, and Naval Air Station Yorktown. Construction projects will include general building type projects, such as new construction, demolition, repair, alteration, and renovation of buildings, systems, and infrastructure.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The proposed contract is a 5-year IDIQ firm fixed price MACC with a 1-year base period and 4 one-year option periods. The total estimated construction cost for all contracts is not to exceed $95,000,000.00 for the life of the contract.
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate proposals based on best value, tradeoff, and the factors in the solicitation.
- When and how do you bid? The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about November 2017. The solicitation will be listed as N40085-18-R-1109 on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website (NECO).

- There's a mandatory bid bond in the amount of 20% of total project bid price for the seed project or $3M, whichever amount is less.
