- What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a small business to provide OEM direct procurement of bearings, seals, gaskets, pumps, and other components for the six Ships Service Diesel Generators (SSDGs) aboard the USS MAKIN ISLAND (LHD-8). These items must be procured as OEM replacement parts to ensure compatibility in form, fit, and function with the existing diesel generator configuration.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The Navy is contemplating award of a firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached Statement of Work. The applicable delivery date is 17 August 2027 or best availability as set forth in Enclosure (1).
- How will they pick the winner? The Navy will evaluate responses based on the company's ability to provide all the OEM materials no later than the required delivery date.
- When and how do you bid? Interested companies should submit a letter of interest including the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact.
