The Federal Bureau of Prisons needs a small business to replace an education chair lift at FCI Oxford.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need? The contractor will provide a new ADA-compliant inclined platform lift, including a complete platform assembly, drive and guide-rail components, obstruction-sensing devices, passenger restraining arms, retractable boarding ramps, kick plates, safety lighting, hand grips, low-voltage controls, emergency stop features, and keyless operation.
  • What is the timeline? The performance period for the project will be 140 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed.
  • When is the deadline? The quotation deadline is June 17, 2026, at 11:00 am Central Time.

Who can apply

  • Must be a certified small business
  • Has experience with building equipment installation

Don't bother if…

  • You must be registered in SAM.gov as a small business for the applicable NAICS code

  • Only individuals who have received prior approval will be permitted to enter the facility
