What exactly do they need? The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to construct a 21,117 gross square feet Engineering Housing Maintenance Shop (EHMS) facility at Camp Santiago Joint Training Center (CSJTC) for the Puerto Rico Army National Guard. The new EHMS facility will consist of a series of specialized repair shops, a supporting operator work bay, Supply Warehouse, administration wing, break room & conference area, locker rooms, and toilet/shower rooms. Primary repair shop operations will include Paint, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Screen, Carpenter, Welding, and Ground Maintenance shops.
What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a duration of 730 calendar days after notice to proceed. The contract will include the base work and eight option line items.
How will they pick the winner? The award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the government, considering only price and price-related factors.
