The Air Force needs a small business to provide engineering services for multi-discipline construction projects at Robins AFB in Georgia. The services include providing all labor, material, plant, equipment, supplies, transportation, and coordination required for the completion of architectural and engineering firm-supported projects. The contractor will perform all services and furnish all materials required for the production and delivery of field investigations, surveys, design calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and electronic files for maintenance, repair, alteration, and new construction projects.
What's the contract structure and timeline?
This will be a new Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract with up to five contracts and up to three additional offerors on the Program Reserve. The IDIQ value is not to exceed $50,000,000 over the life of the contract, with five one-year ordering periods. There is no guarantee that work will be awarded in any given year.
How will they pick the winner?
The evaluation will consider the contractor's specialized experience, professional qualifications, previous DoD work, location and knowledge of the facility, in-house independent technical review team, and in-house core design team. The contractor must submit the total dollars awarded to the firm by the DoD in the past 12 months or past AE fiscal year.
