The agency is announcing an upcoming solicitation. Watch for the actual RFP/RFQ to be posted later.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers needs a small business to provide environmental remediation services at a contaminated site in Delaware.

Key Details

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers needs a small business to provide environmental remediation services at the Standard Chlorine of DE Superfund Site in Delaware. The site covers approximately 145 acres of mixed developed and undeveloped land, including a 23-acre fenced area that was once a chlorobenzene manufacturing plant.

What exactly do they need? The contractor will be responsible for all remediation work, including sampling, analysis, demolition, excavation, backfilling, handling, packaging, and potentially transportation and disposal of all materials required under the contract. The selected remedy combines elements of bioremediation and low-temperature thermal desorption.

What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) with a five-year ordering period. The individual task orders will contain a performance work statement that will clearly indicate the specific requirements of the task(s) to be performed.

How will they pick the winner? The evaluation basis will be based on fair market prices, quality, and delivery.

When and how do you bid? The official solicitation is expected to be released on or about September 15, 2025, and will be posted on the System for Award Management website (www.SAM.gov).
