The USACE Vicksburg District needs a small business to provide equipment rental and/or purchase services for various types of equipment.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need? The USACE Vicksburg District is seeking a small business to provide equipment rental and/or purchase services for various types of equipment, including construction machinery, transportation equipment, material handling equipment, and other commercial and industrial machinery. The contractor will be responsible for transporting all equipment to the work site and returning it to the contractor's facility.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a period not to exceed five years from the date of contract award. The contractor will be responsible for all repairs incurred during normal operations and will promptly provide replacement machinery if repairs cannot be performed in the field or require downtime more than three days.
  • How will they pick the winner? The government will evaluate the contractor's capability statements and past performance information to select vendors to participate in the BPA. The evaluation will be based on the contractor's ability to meet or exceed the stated requirements.
  • When and how do you bid? The government invites contractors to submit a capability statement consisting of appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and past performance information with references. The submission deadline is Friday, July 24, 2026, by 12:00 pm (central time). Electronic submissions via email will be accepted.
