The Air Force needs a small business to manufacture two explosive-resistant friction ovens.

Key Details

  • What exactly do they need? The Air Force needs two explosive-resistant friction ovens for use at Eglin AFB, FL. The ovens must meet the requirements outlined in the Minimum Requirements Document dated 26 April 2026.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, and the contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose quote is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The contract will be for a fixed price, and the delivery schedule is as soon as possible.
