The services include annual inspection, maintenance/repair, refill/recharge/discharge, disposal, and hydrostatic testing for Co2 and Dry Chemical extinguishers in sizes ranging from 2.5 pounds to 50 pounds.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a 5-year ordering period. The Government contemplates awarding two (2) BPAs to offerors who are determined responsible, with the lowest price technically acceptable, and is considered fair and reasonable. The two contractors will rotate monthly throughout the life of the BPA.
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate proposals based on past performance, and the offeror must be able to gain access onto Fort Benning, GA to pick up and/or deliver the various types of fire extinguishers.
- When and how do you bid? Proposals are due on June 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST, and must be submitted through the Federal Business Opportunities website.
