- What exactly do they need? The Air Force needs a small business to provide fire suppression services for its facilities at Moody AFB and Grassy Pond Annex. This includes semi-annual operational tests, annual inspections, and hydrostatic tests on pressure cylinders for 17 fire suppression systems in 11 facilities. The contractor must also maintain the systems in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be for 12 months with four one-year option periods. The base year will begin on October 1, 2026, and the option years will run from October 1, 2027, to September 30, 2031.
- How will they pick the winner? The government will evaluate quotes based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) criteria.
