  • What exactly do they need? The US Coast Guard needs a small business to inspect and test the FM200 fire suppression system on the CGC William Hart. The contractor shall provide services for inspecting and testing the system, and the vendor shall state in their proposal the amount of time the job is expected to take to complete and confirm their availability to perform the required services during the requested period of performance.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The period of performance is from July 24th, 2026 to July 31st, 2026.
  • How will they pick the winner? The purchase order will be awarded to the responsible contractor whose quote conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous and the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.
  • When and how do you bid? Quotes must be submitted on company letterhead stationery and must include the following information: (1) Cost Breakdown (2) Unit Cost (3) Extended Price (4) Total Price (5) Payment Terms (6) Discount offered for prompt payment (7) Company Unique Entity ID (UEI) and Cage Code. Quotes must be received no later than 22 July 2026 at 4:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
