The VA needs a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to replace boilers at its Lexington hospital.
Key Details
- What exactly do they need?
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and material for replacement of high-efficiency stainless steel condensing hot water boilers in buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 16, 25, 28, 201, and 202.
- The contractor must dispose of or recycle all waste, spoils, or excess.
- The work must be conducted in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, codes, VA policies/regulations, specifications, drawings, and the Statement of Work.
- What's the contract structure and timeline?
- This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns.
- The contract will be awarded using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process.
- How will they pick the winner?
- The evaluation factors and sub-factors will be available upon the solicitation release.
- When and how do you bid?
- The solicitation is expected to be released on or by August 4, 2026.
- Bids must be submitted through the System For Award Management (SAM) database.
