The Defense Logistics Agency needs a small business to manufacture FR ACU unisex coats for the military.
Key Details
The Defense Logistics Agency is looking for a small business to manufacture FR ACU unisex coats for the military. The coats must be manufactured in accordance with GL/PD 14-04B dated 7 March 2023.
- What exactly do they need? The agency needs 96,000 coats per year for five years, with a guaranteed minimum of 24,000 coats per year. The coats must be Berry Amendment compliant and made from materials produced in the United States.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five pricing tiers, each covering a 12-month performance period. The contract will last for 60 months.
- How will they pick the winner? The agency will evaluate proposals based on Product Demonstration Models (PDMs), past performance, Surge & Sustainment Capability Assessment Plan (CAP), and proposed price.
- When and how do you bid? The solicitation will be posted on DIBBS and SAM.gov. Only electronic submissions via DIBBS will be accepted. Potential offerors are encouraged to register now and ensure they are prepared for the electronic submission process.
