The Navy needs a small business to lead CREDO workshops and retreats for sailors with operational stress and PTSD.

  • What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a full-time retreat facilitator to lead CREDO workshops and retreats for sailors with operational stress and PTSD. The contractor will develop, implement, execute, and evaluate CREDO workshops, and may be used as needed for retreat events. The position requires extensive familiarity with CREDO, its programs, and mission.
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a base year starting around September 2017 and two option years, plus the option to extend services up to an additional six months. The position is located at Naval District Washington and job duties can be around a 60-mile radius.
  • How will they pick the winner? The Navy will evaluate proposals based on the contractor's experience leading CREDO programs, their knowledge, skills, and abilities as a seminary-trained professional clergy, and their ability to create safe emotional space for CREDO participants.
  • When and how do you bid? A complete RFQ package will be available on or about August 23, 2017, by downloading the documents at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
  • Routine commodity buy — low-effort bid, modest payoff.
