The Air Force needs a small business to maintain and repair the Giant Voice Mass Notification System at Joint Base Charleston.

  • What exactly do they need? The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, consumables, equipment, transportation, and any other items and services necessary to perform full preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on the Giant Voice Mass Notification System (GVS) in operation at Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS), South Carolina Air Base (AB) and Naval Weapons Station (NWS), ensuring full operational capability in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, commercial practices, and manufacturer’s specifications as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract is a firm-fixed-price contract with a base year and two option years. The contractor shall perform two scheduled semi-annual Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI) of all systems associated with the JB CHS GVS.
  • How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate proposals based on the best value to the Government, considering factors such as the contractor’s experience, technical capabilities, and past performance.
  • When and how do you bid? Submit a quote electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities website by the response deadline of 2026-06-12T16:00:00.000Z.

Heads up — easy to miss

  • There's a mandatory site visit on Tuesday, 26 May 2026 at 1000 AM EDT at Joint Base Charleston, SC. If you miss it, you can't bid.
  • Offerors must submit a completed copy of the DD 254 upon submission of quote.
  • Contractor personnel must hold a valid U.S. security clearance of Tier 1, Tier 3, or Tier 5 with favorable determination.
