The Air Force needs a small business to construct a gravel parking lot and roadways in Oneida, NY. The scope includes constructing a gravel parking lot and roadways at the Stockbridge parking area. The parking lot will be approximately 1.5 acres in size and will include a gravel surface, curbing, and drainage. The roadways will be approximately 2 miles in length and will include a gravel surface, curbing, and drainage.
What's the contract structure and timeline?
This is a firm-fixed-price contract with a base period of 120 days and two 30-day option periods. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
How will they pick the winner?
The Government will evaluate offers based on price and past performance. Past performance is significantly more important than price. When evaluating past performance, the Government will place more emphasis on efforts that are more similar in scope/nature to the work involved in this solicitation (relevant) as well as more recent.
