The Navy needs a small business to provide hand tools for its depots.
Key Details
What exactly do they need?
The Navy needs a small business to provide standard commercial hand tools, including edged, nonpowered, and power-driven tools. The tools must be at competitive prices and meet the requirements of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division.
What's the contract structure and timeline?
The Navy will establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with companies that provide hand tools. The BPAs will be awarded on a 6-month rotation through June 2029. Interested vendors should provide documentation and references to the contracting officer by email no later than 30 April for a June award, or by 31 October for a December award.
How will they pick the winner?
The Navy will evaluate vendors based on their past performance, including customer satisfaction, timeliness, technical success, program management, and quality. The government reserves the right to use additional references if available.
When and how do you bid?
Interested vendors should submit a cover sheet with their company name, cage code, and point of contact, as well as documentation addressing their capabilities and expertise. They should also provide a price list, if applicable, and a minimum of three Past Performance References. The government will consider vendors who possess a GSA contract and note their GSA contract number in their response. Vendors who are found to have technical and past performance merit will be issued a Master BPA to bid on future requirements.
