The U.S. Coast Guard needs a small business to manufacture handheld radios for its operations.

- What exactly do they need? The Coast Guard needs a handheld radio that meets the requirements for packaging, packing, marking, and bar-coding. The radio must be a UHF, handheld package, IAW MIL-STD-2073-1E, MARK IAW SP-PP&M-001. The Coast Guard will reject any items that do not meet these requirements.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The Coast Guard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on an all or none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures.
- How will they pick the winner? The Coast Guard will evaluate offers based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
- When and how do you bid? Quotations are due on July 15th, 2026, at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time. Offerors must submit their quotations through SAM.gov.
