The USGS needs a small business to remove hazardous waste from its Laurel Campus. The work includes waste characterization, packaging, labeling, documentation, technical support, and all necessary licenses, permits, insurance, and waste disposition. The site contains 15 bird pens that require PFAS substrate testing, with a total of 75 samples collected. If sampling results exceed acceptable PFAS limits, the contaminated soil must be excavated and disposed of in accordance with federal and state regulations.
