- What exactly do they need? The National Weather Service needs a small business to supply helium in 6-packs or 12-packs to its office in Las Vegas, NV. Deliveries will occur approximately every three weeks throughout the period of performance. The period of performance is July 23, 2026 through April 30, 2027.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The resulting purchase order will be a fixed-price contract with an economic price adjustment. The contract will include options to increase the quantity by not more than 50% of the initial quantity.
- How will they pick the winner? The evaluation criteria are provided in the attached SF 1449. This is a best-value acquisition.
- When and how do you bid? Quotes are due to the contracting office no later than 10:00 am MDT on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. All quotes must be emailed to the attention of Jen Brown, email address is jen.brown@noaa.gov.
