- What exactly do they need? The Navy needs a contractor to provide monthly rental of a minimum of eight (8) high-capacity dehumidifying/air conditioning rental units to support mission-critical environmental control operations. Each unit must have a minimum cooling capacity of 12.5 tons or 20 tons, airflow capacity of at least 5,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM) and be mounted on a skid with certified welded lifting points for safe handling and deployment.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract is a firm-fixed-price lease with a base period of 07 July 2026 - 06 July 2027 and an option period of 07 July 2027 - 06 January 2028. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools and materials in order to accomplish the work detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- How will they pick the winner? The evaluation basis is technical capability, with a detailed technical quote (not to exceed 10 pages) demonstrating thorough knowledge, understanding, and approach to accomplishing each paragraph in the PWS. The Offeror is required to submit a signed offer to the Government, which constitutes agreement and acceptance of the solicited terms and conditions.
- When and how do you bid? Quotes are due no later than 06/17/2026 at 12:00 p.m. HST and must be sent via email to both the primary and secondary points of contact.
