- What exactly do they need? The Air Force needs three new Keysight 53230A Universal Frequency Counter/Timers (350 MHz, 12 digits/s) equipped with Channel 3 (15 GHz CW), Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) Timebase, and a Type-N front panel input. These commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) units are required to replace obsolete, end-of-life legacy counters that are experiencing severe hardware degradation.
- What's the contract structure and timeline? The contract is a firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance of 90 days after contract award. The desired delivery date is not later than 90 days after contract award.
- How will they pick the winner? The Government will evaluate quotations based on the quality of the proposed items, the proposed prices, and the offeror's ability to meet the required delivery date. The Government reserves the right to conduct interchanges with some, none, or all offerors, or make no award at all depending upon the quality of quotations received and whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable.
