The Department of Veterans Affairs needs a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to provide hospital housekeeping services at the Hampton VA Health Care System. The contractor will provide managerial, supervisory, administrative, direct, and overhead personnel to perform the work specified in the contract, including the provision of all labor, transportation, equipment, and materials, except as specified herein as government furnished.

  • What exactly do they need?

The contractor will provide custodial services for the Hampton VA Health Care System, including cleaning floors, baseboards, corners, and wall edges; emptying trash; disinfecting sinks, faucets, and countertops; cleaning glass and mirrors; and performing spot cleaning on high-touch surfaces. The contractor will also provide rest room cleaning services, including cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces of sinks, toilets, urinals, lavatories, dispensers, plumbing fixtures, partitions, doors, walls, and other such surfaces.

  • What's the contract structure and timeline?

The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a base year and option years. The contractor will provide services daily, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays observed by the Federal Government. The contractor will provide a proposed work schedule to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within five (5) calendar days from receipt of award of the Contract.
